The purpose of First Baptist Church’s Journeyland Mother’s Day Out is to connect preschoolers and their families to a complete life in Christ.  We are a Christian educational program for preschoolers ages 18 months to five years.  Children enrolled in our program will receive high quality care with learning and play opportunities in a Christian atmosphere.  Using a Christian curriculum, children are prepared for kindergarten while learning about God and His son, Jesus.


SCHEDULE

9:00am - 2:00pm Tuesdays & Thursdays

We follow the LCMCISD school calendar and also follow their lead when it comes to closures due to weather, etc.

We begin registration for the following school year in the spring each year.

ENROLLMENT

Children will be enrolled on a first come-first served basis.  If you wish to enroll your child in a class that is full, you may place your child’s name on a waiting list.  We have a limited number of spaces available and want our teachers to provide the best educational experience for the children enrolled.  With this in mind, we will not accept drop-ins.

Children in the young toddler, toddler, preschool & pre-k classes will be placed according to their age on or before Sept. 1st.  This is in accordance with public school policy as set forth by the state of Texas.

Only children who are completely toilet trained will be enrolled in our Preschool (3’s) or PreK (4’s) program.  This requirement is common among preschool ministries.  Each child should be able to care for their potty needs with minimum assistance from their teacher.  Children in these age groups should be able to communicate their daily needs to their teacher.

 

Registration For 24-25 will open April 1.

Please note that our tuition is $140 per month, and the rate for siblings is $125 per month.

In addition to the $75 registration fee, there will also be a one-time supply fee for each child. All teachers will send out their supply fee invoice on July 1 and will be due on July 5. No supply list will be distributed as supply fee will cover all supplies needed, including supplies we are using to sanitize our environments regularly. This includes our indoor playground.

COST

Journeyland Mother’s Day Out seeks to offer a high-quality education at a reduced price.  Tuition covers care from 9-2.  Please see Parent Handbook for fees regarding late pickup. Tuition and fees are as follows:

Fall and Spring Session (September through May)

  • Registration fee per child - $75 due after receipt of registration confirmation. This will reserve your child's spot in our program.

  • Tuition per child - $140 per month & $125 per month for siblings paid at the beginning of each month.

  • Supply fee - $75

  • All teachers will send out their class supply fee invoice on July 31 and it will need to be paid by August 4.
