Connection Groups Where do they Meet? (Now meeting in homes)

Connection groups are the heart of First Baptist Church. Groups are now meeting at various times, days, and places. Within one of these groups you will find life long friends and develop relationships that will help you grow as a Christian. The purposes for these groups is to provide a place for authentic relationships and life-changing Bible study. Becoming a member of a Connection Group is a must if you want to truly become connected at FBC. You are encouraged to try several of the groups and find the one that best fits who you are.

Bible classes with activities are also offered for children at 9:30 am each Sunday. Other activities and meetings are held during the week - click Children's Ministry for more information.

We also have Youth Bible Studies for grades 7-12 - click Youth for more information.

Even though many of the classes and departments have age ranges, these simply identify the average ages within these groups.
We do not limit who can be a part of a particular group. We encourage each person to find the group that is the best fit for them irregardless of age.

Where do they Meet?

Sunday Morning Bible Study Group	Age or Interest Group	Discovery Class During our regular Connection Group time A must for adult visitors and new members, this three-week class will help you understand our church’s structure, as well as the available opportunities and programs. It will provide information that will help you get connected at First Baptist Church. Everyone seeking to learn more about FBC is encouraged to attend. Sanctuary Class — all ages
This class meets in the church sanctuary and offers a variety of formats used to teach God’s word. Topical lessons, character studies, and video series are just a few of the methods used to teach. Come and be a part of this class!

“The Living Room” - all ages
This department offers four different group experiences. Three of the groups are designed for both men and women, while the fourth (called: Creative Friendzy) is especially geared for women. Here you will find a casual, laid back atmosphere. This will be a place where you can feel connected!

Foundations Dept. Ages 22 & up This department offers one class. They use various types of material focusing on different biblical topics. This group enjoys doing things together outside of church, and they would love to have you join them!	Cross Section Age range: 35 & up This department offers one class. They use various types of Bible study material, offering something for everyone. When you visit this group, you will feel right at home.
TLC Dept. Ages 45 & up There are three class options in this department. There is a men’s class, a ladies class, and a class for couples. You will meet loving, caring people who will make you feel right at home!	Faithful Servants Dept. 55 & up Offering a men’s class and a ladies class, this department has some great fellowships, and you are sure to be invited to be a part of what they are doing!
Joy Dept. Age range: 65 & up This department offers one men’s class and three classes for the ladies. Here, you will find warm, friendly people who will welcome you to become a part of their group.

Youth Connection Groups
In our youth department, we have Bible Study groups for students from 7th grade to high school seniors. Your youth can make solid connections with outher students and with God.

Children's Connection Groups 1st-6th grade
Kids can come and have fun and learn about the Bible as they participate in interactive learning experiences.

Preschool Connection Groups
Our teachers will love ancare for your preschooler. Your child will experience a warm, safe environment where he or she will be engaged in activities that will teach them about the Bible.
