Mother's Day Out

 

 The purpose of First Baptist Church’s Journeyland Mother’s Day Out is to connect preschoolers and their families to a complete life in Christ.  We are a Christian educational program for preschoolers ages 18 months to five years.  Children enrolled in our program will receive high quality care with learning and play opportunities in a Christian atmosphere.  Using a Christian curriculum, children are prepared for kindergarten while learning about God and His son, Jesus.

 

Schedule

Time: Tuesday and Thursdays, 9 am-2 PM.  We follow the LC-M CISD School Calendar.

 

Cost

Journeyland Mother’s Day Out will offer a high quality education at a reduced price.  In addition to the preschool curriculum and activities, we will keep children until 2:00 at no extra charge.  Fees are as follows:

Fall and Spring Session (September through May)                           

Registration fee per child- $75 due at time of registration. Payment of this $75 will reserve your child's spot in our program.

Tuition per child- $135 per month & $125 per month for siblings paid at the beginning of each month.

Supply fee per child $60 due by Sept. 1st.

Enrollment

Enrollment: Children will be enrolled on a first come-first served basis.  If you wish to enroll your child in a class that is full, you may place your child’s name on a waiting list.  We have a limited number of spaces available and want our teachers to provide the best educational experience for the children enrolled.  With this in mind, we will not accept drop-ins.

Children in the 2,3, and 4 year old classes will be placed according to their age on or before Sept. 1st.  This is in accordance with public school policy as set forth by the state of Texas.

To enroll your child, please complete the Registration form.  The registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.  The supply fee is due by September 1, 2016.  We request that you keep all forms updated as needed.  Only children who are completely toilet trained will be enrolled in the 3 and 4 year old classes.  The registration form can be downloaded and printed from the link below, or you may choose to pick up a hard copy in the church office.

We will begin registration for the fall semester 2017 on Tuesday, February 21st.  Registration will only be open to students that are currently enrolled in our program until March 10th.  After March 10th, we will open registration to all.  Registration fee is $75.  There is also a $60 supply fee for each child.  No supply list will be distributed as supply fee will cover all supplies needed.  Only the $75 registration fee needs to be paid at time of registration in order to reserve your spot for the fall.  Supply fee can be paid at any time before the school year begins.

Please note that our tuition will increase next year to $135 per month.  The rate for siblings will be $125 per month. This increase is necessary to maintain and continue to improve the high quality care and education we hope to provide for each child. We hope you will sign up this month, as space will be limited, and we expect to fill all spots for the fall semester.  Registration forms for the 2017-2018 school year will be available in the office and online at fbco.org..
